accumulator - Diaphragm/ Membrane Type (FAC)
A hydro-pneumatic accumulator is used to store pressurised fluid such that it can be used in times of need viz. power failure, regeneration, hydraulic damping etc. The FAC type of accumulator is a diaphragm type with a high-strength rubber membrane separating the air and hydraulic media. The accumulators are designed for a maximum operating pressure of 160 Kgf/cm2.
