Variable Vane Pump (FVP)
FVP type pressure compensated vane pumps are used for energy saving applications in the machine tool industry. When the system pressure reaches the set pressure, the pump delivery gets reduced automatically and the pump operates to maintain required system pressure. This prevents un-necessary heat addition into the system and also reduces the load on the electric motor thereby reducing the power consumption. These pumps are designed for low noise and long line for low pressure applications up to 70bar. When the system pressure drops below the set value, the pump again compensates to increase the flow and achieve the required set pressure.
The unique working principle makes these pumps ideal for low pressure applications in machines for functions like chuck clamping, fixture applications etc. and also on machines where the cycle times are short and frequent pressure cycles are required.
These pumps are available in 2 sizes, size 1 and 2. In size 2 additional feature of flow adjustment feature is added as standard.
